Create your account and log in

You can start using Pingu for free. There are three ways to create an account, and they all lead to the same dashboard at admin.pingu.chat.

Option 1: Start from your website address

This is the fastest way. Pingu creates your account, builds your first widget, and learns from your website for you.

1. Go to the setup page and enter your website address.
2. Pingu checks your site, creates your account, and shows your Dashboard URL, Username and a temporary Password. Copy them or select Save setup instructions to email or download them.
3. Follow the remaining steps to copy your widget code, connect the mobile app, and check the installation.

Option 2: Start a free trial

1. Go to admin.pingu.chat/register?mode=trial.
2. Enter your name, email address, phone number, a username, a password (at least 8 characters) and your company name.
3. Select Start Free Trial.

The free trial includes 2 widgets and 1 admin seat for 30 days. No credit card is required. See Plans, free trial and billing for what happens when it ends.

Option 3: Join with an invite key

If someone at your company or the Pingu team gave you an invite key:

1. Go to admin.pingu.chat/register.
2. Choose Have Invite Key and enter the key, for example XXXX-XXXX.
3. Fill in your details and select Complete Registration.

Using WordPress?

The Pingu WordPress plugin can create your account, start a free trial, or use an invite key without leaving WordPress.

Log in to the dashboard

1. Go to admin.pingu.chat.
2. Enter your username and password. Your username is not your email address.
3. Select Sign in.

Tick Remember me to stay signed in on your own computer.

Forgot your password?

1. On the login page, select Forgot password?
2. Enter your username and select Send Reset Link.
3. Open the email sent to your registered address and follow the link to choose a new password.
